For an introvert traveler, this weekend is precious. – 09.06-07.14

Weekend that Allen finally got his dose of beach and that customary 24/7 booze when in one of our favorite places (and yes, while it was always RockOn that was in the photos, he wasn’t one who drank it all). It was a quick but recharging a day and half of talk, drink and eat (yep, even for Allen) with friends new and not-so-new as well as bipolar weather that kind of matches, well, (ahem!) our tendencies.
Arrived in town around noontime so they (and only they) grabbed lunch at the nearest carinderia
~~~
So there was Allen’s lunch with RockOn and our friend Curt in the background
‘Waiter’ dog.
Someone got his stomach full.
~~~
I wonder whether this was the barky one which scared me
~~~
.. but most likely the sleepy one.
~~~
So Allen and I just sat by the beach with Carlo on third wheel (and my toes on corner photobomb)
~~~
There was a gig that night but something not-so-good happened that I ended up wandering the streets alone. At least I had the moon with me
~~~
And I had to pause from walking when it suddenly rained. Quite hard too!
~~~
After the rain, I came back to the venue just right on time for Franco
~~~
Luckily found a nice spot too

BETTER AND BRIGHTER MORNING
Ugly feet!
~~~
Because he couldn’t surf.
Tipsy, we found this spot.
And while I laze…
…he slept. ( I will eventually fall asleep though until kids would come to us and wake us up)
SNAPSHOTS FROM OUR AFTERNOON TALK
It was this pizza joint’s opening the day when we arrived so we decided to try it! (No actually, we just wanted pizza and some kwek-kwek – which we failed to capture in a photo :/)
Karla with no face
Quiet.
Apparently also from my hometown in Baler
Must be some sand creatures
Howkey, you are indeed a dog magnet
Father and son (?)
Yet again another sunset
How to get there:
Take a Victory Liner bus from Cubao terminal to Iba. Ask driver to drop you off at San Antonio. Take a tricycle then to any resort in Pundaquit
If you miss the bus that goes straight to Iba, you can always take the bus to Olongapo then transfer from there.
