[Concepcion]~ Last Day Sun, Sand and Sea at Agho and Bag-o Sipol Islands

‘Alone’ time in islands before goodbye – 05.03.15

>>>>

Visit to two more islands in Concepcion before calling this a trip —

First was at AGHO ISLAND – which owes its charm to its 360-degree view of calm and bright blue water with other islands on backdrop. Sadly though, trash could be seen in some parts, despite place having a caretaker. Spent most of my time in the water here, trying my best to tune out from only fellow yet quite noisy other fellow guests to the island at that time.

Right across Agho is an uninhabited much smaller island called BAG-O SIPOL ISLAND which at low tide is connected to a bigger resort island. There was not as much water to wade into here but this turned out to be my favorite for its ‘real’ island feel. If not for the guilt that tour guides were bored as hell (and probably wondering about the outcome of the boxing match), I could have spent an entire afternoon here just staring at any.

20150503_121240Was the sole visitor to this place (well, except my two tour guides)

###

20150503_123127During low tide, sandbar gets exposed that that island resort becomes walkable

###

20150503_123312 Those times when I bravely take photos from the water (even though my phone’s no longer water-resistance because of damaged charging cover)

HOW TO GET THERE:

Went to these islands before going back to Concepcion pier for around Php1,200-1,500 (Gaaad. This is a sickness of not remembering exact costs. I shall be better next time. I will try!)

I spent about an hour in each island but if you have more time, go spend as many hours as you can! 🙂
